Brandon David Breed
(Rosedale) Born September 2, 1969 to John T. and Louise V. Breed, passed away September 11, 2007 in Houston TX.

A Shades Valley and UAB Honors Program graduate, he possessed a superior intellect and was well versed on a wide variety of subjects. Having touched the lives of many without regard of race or social status, always a giving person he most recently volunteered with Houston Health Care for the Homeless.

A memorial service will be held October 6th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Mountain Chapel UMC,2541 Rocky Ridge Road.

Rosita LaShelle Fuller McDuffie
Rosita Lashelle Fuller McDuffie, age 37, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at Mount Canaan Full Gospel Church, 2725 24th Street S.W., Birmingham, AL 35211 on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mary (Madear) Fuller and a loving son Cordarius (Corey) Clark. Survivors include a loving and devoted husband Master Sergeant Leroy McDuffie; one son, Steven Clark; one daughter, Ashley Clark; mother, Irene (Wayne) Wilson;father, Joseph (Shirley) Evans; brothers, Michael Fuller and Anthony Fuller; grandparents, Classie (Clarence) Evans; two stepsons, Leroy McDuffie III and Dillion McDuffie and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
 
Michael Glen Jordan
Michael Glen Jordan, age 44 of Remlap, Alabama, was born on April 2nd, 1969 and died peacefully on March 22nd, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Debra Jordan, two sons, Joseph M. Jordan, from Detroit, Michigan, and Jeremy C. Champion of Hayden, Alabama, his parents Alma V. Jordan, and William F. Jordan, of Birmingham, Alabama, and one brother, Stephen L. Jordan of Indian Springs, Alabama, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Michael was a distinguished Veteran who served his country honorably in the Persian Gulf War serving in the US Army. Throughout the course of his life, Michael owned and operated several businesses, including Jordan Sign’s in Oneonta, Alabama. Michael held a passion for life, hunting, fishing, cross country motorcycling, and helping others. Michael was loved and will be missed by many friends and relatives. Funeral services for Michael will be held at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home (Hwy 119) in Pelham, Alabama. Visitation will be Monday evening, March 24, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 25, 201 4 at 2 p.m. in Ridout’s Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham.
 
Mark Edward McWilliams
Mark Edward McWilliams, age 43 of Homewood, AL passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home with his wife, parents and sister at his bedside. He was a member of McElwain Baptist Church. He was an architect and employed with Birchfield Penuel & Associates. He was an avid Alabama fan, a fan of Formula 1 racing. He loved traveling to such places as Alaska, Costa Rica, Kenya, Paris, Italy, Greece and Colorado. Mark’s hobbies included SCCA racing and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Susan Roberts McWilliams; parents, Edgar K. McWilliams, Jr. and Vonnette Thompson McWilliams; sister, Lisa A. McWilliams-Ortman (Brian). Services will be on 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home Thursday. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at any Regions Bank to the Mark E. McWilliams Memorial Fund.

Judy Lynn Rogers Segars
Judy Lynn Segars, age 46, of Lispscomb, AL died Friday, July 8, 2016 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County and resided in Lipscomb all her life. She was employed with Cytopath PC for the past eight years as a medical transcriptionist.  Judy is survived by one son, James Segars; her parents, James and Mary Rogers; one brother, Paul Rogers (Clara) and one sister, Kathleen “Kathy” Kelly (Roger); and a host of friends and relatives. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 10:30 A. M. at Valhalla Chapel with the Rev. Bill McCall officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 11, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. “Judy was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and a great friend to all who knew her.”
